About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced person to join Council's Corporate Services Division as Coordinator Revenue.


As the Coordinator Revenue you will provide senior assistance with the operation and management of the revenue team to ensure that all functions are performed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for the preparation and lodgement of statutory reports associated with rates and Fires Services Property Levy.


This position would suit an organised and flexible individual who has a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. The applicant will possess strong experience in Local Government rates administration, well developed communication skills with proven experience in providing excellent customer service.  Working with limited supervision, you will have an eye for detail whilst being able to meet strict deadlines.


This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range $89,666 and $99,292 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.


Key Selection Criteria

  • Considerable professional rating authority experience in Local Government;
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply these to a relevant situation;
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative to improve processes and deliver high quality customer service;
  • Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities to achieve objectives within a timetable and with resources available;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated team coaching and supervisory skills;
