About The Role
Iluka is inviting students in their penultimate year of study to participate in a mid-year vacation program.
During the 4 weeks, you will put into practice the theory that you have learned throughout your degree. You will be exposed to a wide variety of duties, plus the opportunity to work on real projects in a fast paced environment that will enable you to develop your existing knowledge and skills.
Expressions of interest are open across the following disciplines:
- Mechanical Engineering; and
You will be a thinker who demonstrates courage by challenging function and reason; show initiative and be able to communicate with all employees. Your input and initiative will be welcomed and valued as your skills develop.
Qualifications and competencies required:
- Eligibility to work in Australia;
- Students in 3rd or 4th year of tertiary study;
- A current and valid Australian Drivers Licence;
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical;
- Excellent communication skills; and
- Excellent listening and analytical skills.
