LMS Energy is Australias largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS will be offering a full-time Electrical Apprenticeship for candidates currently completing their 2nd or 3rd year. The successful apprentice will be required to report to the Field Services Supervisor, and will be based at Eastern Creek, NSW.  You must be a positive and friendly team player who demonstrates great work ethic and initiative in day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision conduct electrical works
  • Under supervision provide technical support to the Operations Group
  • Under supervision conduct bioenergy facility site construction across Australia
  • Under supervision assist in the manufacturing of LMS assets at the workshop in South Australia
  • Assist and work collaboratively within the Field Services Group
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Projects and Engineering  Groups
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Ensure proper implementation of WHS requirements and adherence to corporate policies and procedures
  • Attend Trade School on scheduled dates

Requirements:

  • Currently completing Certificate III in Electro Technology (2nd or 3rd year Apprenticeship)
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Upholds LMS' company values and culture
  • Holds a current Australian driver's license
  • Regular intrastate travel and some interstate travel will be required
  • Fitness for work to perform the job role safely and competently
