About the Role

Based in Launceston, Tas Gas Retail are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our retail division on a 3 month contract full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to current and potential Tas Gas Retail customers, assisting in customer connections and sales, account establishment, maintenance, billing and credit enquiries. Tas Gas Retail currently retails natural gas in Tasmania and Victoria.

Reporting the team leader, the successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in high level administration (call centre experience an advantage) or front-line customer service environment, handling diverse customer queries
  • Proven accounts payable and receivable experience
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi task
  • Demonstrated customer service and customer complaint handling skills
  • Experience with customer management systems
  • High level of computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to show initiative and demonstrate good judgement
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
  • An outgoing, friendly and approachable nature with strong written and verbal communication skills
