About the role
The Audio Visual (AV) service provides AV equipment for the hospital to support video-conferencing, telemedicine, teaching and training, conference rooms and clinical spaces.
The Patient Entertainment System (PES) is an integrated bedside device which provides entertainment, information and communication facilities to the patient. The Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) provide autonomous transportation services to the linen, supplies and supports other FM operational activities. The Service Technicians will support Hospital Employees and Personnel in the use of various technologies, provide remote monitoring and scheduling, planned and reactive maintenance to a range of technical assets, as well as providing training to users of all levels.
The current position will be based at Fremantle Hospital to provide high quality AV services, the role may be required at Fiona Stanley Hospital from time to time.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- Crestron accreditation or third-party control system (desirable)
- Infocomm accreditation (desirable)
- ITIL Certifications (desirable)
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience working with professional audio-visual systems or patient entertainment systems
- Experience working with video conferencing systems
