ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to the establishment of a new, centralised Booking Centre, we have a number of opportunities for new Agents to join our team on an ongoing basis to assist in the scheduling of appointments for our patients. With Medical / Radiology experience being highly regarded, you will be the first point of contact for many of our patients. As such, it is expected that you will provide the highest standards of services at all times.

Being trained by experienced staff members who have the ability to share their years of knowledge and experience
Increase your knowledge of medical terminology as well as various medical imaging services
Full time permanent positions
Answering telephone calls and determining the service required
Delivering prompt and effective responses to patient bookings and enquiries
Notifying patients of requirements prior to their visit
Liaising with technical and support staff regarding booked services
Quoting relevant fees and Medicare rebate amounts
Booking the service into the appointment diary at the relevant site
Informing patients of requirements prior to their visit
Other duties as directed by the Supervisor from time to time
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
We are looking for you to have the following skills and experience:
Excellent communication and telephone skills - you must be articulate, able to listen and have empathy
Previous call centre experience in dealing with high volume of calls
Health care / medical reception experience will be highly regarded
RIS/PACs systems experience will also be highly regarded
A proactive approach to learning and development
Resilient in the face of unpleasant and sometimes aggressive callers
