As a division of BSA, BSA | Advanced Property Solutions is a successful national technical services provider of smart multi service asset management and maintenance solutions including HVAC, Fire, Electrical, Plumbing and general repairs.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our committed and dynamic finance team at our head office in Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key purpose of this role is to be a valued Business Partner to the business managers of the business Unit.
As a member of the senior finance team, demonstrate leadership and uphold company and corporate governance standards;
Develop and mentor the broader finance team including staff in multiple states across Australia
Implement the financial framework for the contract including the contractor payments and manage the claims process for activities under the contract;
Conduct contract reviews to assess and minimise risks and maximise profitability and cash performance;
Drive finance process and reporting improvements.
Manage the production of accurate monthly management accounts for the business units to internal deadlines;
Develop streamlined business reporting through the development of, enhancement and extending the use of business intelligence tools;
Assist with the half year and full year audit processes for the business unit including production of all supporting information in line with requirements;
Develop and drive profit improvement and cash initiatives across the business;
Track contract performance and cost forecasts for projects identifying and investigating trends and instigate and manage corrective actions;
Assist with implementation of Capex procedures and control the Capex budget and forecasts;
Validate financial models for new bids for presentation at internal reviews including cash flow models;
Advocate safe work practices as per customer and BSA standards with 100% compliance to procedures and policies
The right person will have:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area, with CA, CPA or similar accreditation.
A team player with outstanding financial & commercial acumen and corporate control.
Strong people development and management skills
Strong stakeholder management and strategic ability.
Outstanding communications and influencing skills
System experience in Pronto, Jedox and/or Sales force a positive but not essential.
