WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Reporting to the CEO and working as part of a diversely talented team, we are offering a unique opportunity for a Finance and Payroll Officer to undertake a wide range of financial processes, including the handling of accounts payable and receivable, financial data entry, payroll, and the preparation of BAS reporting. Administrative responsibilities include managing memberships, event management processes, email correspondence, and a strong customer service mindset.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Enter data and maintain accounts using Reckon accounting software
Maintain an efficient, timely and compliant payroll function
Manage statutory compliance (BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, WorkCover etc.)
Analyse and provide statistics on membership financial throughput
Contribute to the development and maintenance of rma networks financial management policies
Respond to membership and external enquiries via telephone and email
Manage memberships and subscriptions
Attend and assist with coordination and management of membership training events including annual conference, board of directors and sub-committee management meetings
Undertake administrative tasks including banking, mail, filing and spreadsheets
Year End responsibilities
YOUR KEY QUALITIES
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
Diploma or Certificate IV in Business or Accounting or related discipline
Very competent in Reckon (Quickbooks) including Payroll and BAS
Solid experience and knowledge in end-to-end payroll processing
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Ability to meet tight deadlines, with proficient planning and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously, learn quickly when facing new situations, open to change, and demonstrates a genuine willingness to learn from feedback and experience
