Fire Protect Systems is an Australian owned business currently going through significant growth. We offer our services within NSW, primarily Sydney and focus on maintenance/installation of all fire systems. Due to the business expanding, we are seeking a proactive team player to join our team.
This is a new and an exciting role within the business and will be reporting to Operations. this position will be responsible for:
Testing wet/dry fire systems, fire panels, pumps and emergency warning systems including emergency lighting, portable fire equipment etc
Adhering to all WHS requirements for each client site as directed by Facilities Management.
Availability to complete emergency out of hours call outs on weekends or public holidays when required
Raising defect reports
Completing all maintenance as required
Supporting other teams and staff
Training of new staff, lead teams and with the intention of transitioning into testing manager for the business

To be considered for this position ideally you will have:
Experience and competent in inspecting and maintenance of essential fire systems
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
Ability to work autonomously and be well presented
White Card (not essential)
A drivers license
National Police Certificate
Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
