We have an outstanding opportunity for someone to join us as a Field Service Technician required to perform service and calibrations across our broad customer base throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Duties includes but not limited to:
Installation, maintenance, commissioning and service of Industrial weighing equipment
Produce accurate and timely documentation and service records
Customer liaison to meet agreed service levels and response timeframes
Ensure compliance to the METTLER TOLEDO EH&S standards
Carry out service and repair to competitor brands should the need arise
Work very closely with other departments to ensure a cooperative outcome
Actively seek opportunities for cross divisional selling
Ensure that all tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
Participate in the call out roster system
Occassional extended road trips to complete remote work
NMI 6.1 6.4 certification
Possession of a diploma/certificate in electronics, mechanics, or min 5 years experience in industrial weighing servicing and repair
Excellent verbal and written communication
Demonstrable experience of office and technical software (MS Word and Excel)
Valid Driver's Licence essential
Must be able to work well in a team with minimum supervision and balance technical competence with commercial requirements while ensuring accurate data entry in a highly regulated and audited environment.
