Bookkeeper / Office Admin

Part Time Opportunity (3-4 Days Per Week), New Company That Is Growing, Great Work Environment.

AMG Civil Group is an exciting Civil Construction Company that is seeking someone to join their growing team to manage finance and support the construction team.

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable.
  • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Cashflow Reporting
  • Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management reports
  • Payroll process fortnightly, Employment Contracts
  • Statutory lodgments such as Superannuation, Payroll Tax,  Workcover and Co-Invest.
  • Ensuring day to day schedule and tasks are up to date.
  • Assisting the engineering team with administration work.
  • General Office Duties.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience (5+ years).
  • Tertiary qualification in Bookkeeping / Accounting would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and have strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and MYOB Advanced would be highly regarded, but not    essential.
