General Manager Retail (Based in Launceston - Full Time)
With over 12,000 customers, Tas Gas supplies Natural Gas to business, residential, commercial and industrial clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven energy retailer to make a significant difference.
The ideal candidate will have:
A proven track record in energy retailing (households and industrial), with measurable success in:
Significantly increasing the customer base, and
Delivering customer-centric value.
An excellence in digitisation within energy retailing. The person appointed will have the knowledge of what works, what doesnt work, and where to invest in applications which make the greatest impact.
Experience in a high-functioning and high-achieving leadership team, reporting directly to a CEO, and having responsibility for the leadership of a team of around 10 people.
The ability to form a practical and implementable retail strategy. And given the likelihood that the strategy will materially change the way Tas Gas relates to its existing and potential customers, obtain the support of the CEO, the executive team and the Board.
A bent to action, to rolling up their sleeves to get things done. To openly sharing their experience and knowledge across the whole of Tas Gas to ensure every employee fully understands which is required of the organisation and themselves.
In addition, you will possess the following:
A relevant University degree in marketing, business, or sales.
Extensive experience in energy retailing.
Some experience with projects and stakeholder management would be a plus
The person appointed must:
Be located in Launceston full time (not fly/in, fly/out).
Have full Australian working rights to be considered for this role.
