We currently have an opportunity for a Equipment Load-Out Supervisor to become an integral part of our Operations Team.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for the review and scrutiny of all project packing lists to provide verification of completeness in line with scope understanding.
Responsible for selection or acceptance of only maintained or green-tagged equipment in collating equipment to meet packing list requirements.
Responsible for the maintaining of spare parts kits in a complete state and making recommendations on the development or alteration of spares kits to suit the ongoing business needs.
Responsible for the configuration checks of all equipment spreads, including recommending modifications to suit project environment or specifications.
Responsible for the physical collation and securing of all packing list items into containers/site boxes/etc for movement to required location.
Responsible for identification and actioning of any special packing requirements for the equipment / materials required. Specifically, DG packing for equipment primarily by road and sea. This includes developing and completing the appropriate documentation that goes with this.
Responsible for coordinating the 3rd party inspection activity, providing necessary support to the physical onsite effort, as well as compiling the certification paperwork and any other documentation required.
Responsible for assisting the Project team ascertain load-out footprint, and putting together the manifest, connote, documentation and labelling for the package for its outbound movement.
Responsible for the receipt of backloads and helping process in the equipment and materials to the maintenance and warehouse function, closing out the back load packing list with the project team.
Responsible for raising any defect reports on equipment, red-tagging and quarantining appropriately and feeding the information to the maintenance team.
Responsible for raising POs for Catalogue items and performing other procurement activities (goods receipting, courier unloading, etc) to meet requirements for project and warehouse needs.
Quarantining/gate-keeping for all inbound and outbound items that are non-compliant with IAS accepted process/ procedures. i.e. New goods and equipment must be quarantined until the risk assessment has been complete and function tested.
Responsible for filing and archiving all movement documentation, including delivery notes, connotes/dispatch notes, signed equipment mobilisation processes and packing lists, cert packs, etc, and submission of completed movements for processing.
Ownership and execution of actions on Stock/ procurement related Cls
Seek opportunities for continuous improvement (using LEAN methodology).
Adhere to, promote, and enhance the IAS's OHS culture.
Other duties within the capability and capacity of the employee's skill set as required.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Certification in Lean methodology and practices.
Fabric maintenance or industrial services experience in a like role (highly desirable).
Trade related certificates (preferable)
Experience in the use of computer databases and information management systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communications skills and experience communicating with a trade-based workforce
Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail
Basic skills in the use of Excel and Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Word.
Essentially, you will have a proven track record in fostering a safety first work culture, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively establish work relationships both internally and externally.
