Administration Assistant

A large transport company is seeking an Administration Assistant.  The position is casual and will involve reporting to and assisting the Administration Manager with the day-to-day administration duties.  


  • Accounts Receivable which includes daily receipting of deposits, contacting customers for their payments and fortnightly statement runs.  As the daily movements of our trucks are done on an inhouse software system, training will be provided on this.
  • All adjustment follow ups on incorrectly charged movements;
  • Accounts Payable - data entry of invoices and supplier statement reconciliations;
  • Reception duties;
  • Maintaining registers for the truck fleet which involves keeping on top of registration renewals;
  • General office duties and assisting the Administration Manager when required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Customer Service experience and skills;
  • MYOB - this is not essential as we will train the suitable candidate;
  • Outstanding customer service experience;
  • Confident in Microsoft software, including Excel;
  • Excellent telephone manner;
  • Very organised and takes initiative;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Personable, confident, team player with a positive attitude.
