RECEPTIONIST/OFFICE ADMINISTRATION (FULL TIME)
HopePoint Christian School is a K-6 school located in Georges Hall in South West Sydney with an enrolment of approximately 150 students. We aim to provide an excellent Christ-Centred education by building, growing and empowering our students, staff and community. We have been serving our families for 40 years.
Applications are invited for the position of Receptionist/Office Administration. This is a full time position.
General reception duties
Receipting school fees and other school related payments
Coordination of enrolment enquiries and provision of relevant information to prospective families
Liaising with families, students and front desk
Liaising with Principal, Business Manager, Administration, Teaching and Support staff, Maintenance Staff and Contract Cleaners
Administering first aid as required
General reception duties, counter enquiries, telephone, emails etc
Process student absences
Updating student records
Coordinating and running the Uniform shop
Copying and distribution of all school notes; both hard and soft copies
The selected applicant should be a Christian actively engaged in church life and have the following:
Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office products
Outstanding time management and organisational skills
Professional and friendly demeanour
The ability to work independently and to use initiative
Excellent communication skills
Experience with school administration software desirable (especially Sentral and Xero)
A current first aid certificate
A current Working with Children accreditation
All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and able to a current ministers reference.
Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
