The Company

PhysioXtra has been providing physiotherapy services to the local community for over 25 years. Our Clinics also offer Podiatry, Massage and Dietetics.  Our clinics have fully equipped treatment rooms and Clinical Exercise studios that include a gym and pilates equipment.

Your New Role

We are looking for a friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team at PhysioXtra Hallett Cove and Seaford. In this casual position you will report directly to the Practice Manager. You will be managing a busy front desk reception, welcoming our patients to the clinic, supporting our health care professionals as well as general administration duties. This is a challenging role with a difference. If you love helping people and enjoy working in a fast paced environment then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Our clinics are open 6 days a week from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm on Saturdays, therefore, this position will suit someone who is flexible and has the capacity to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekdays, and weekends. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and welcoming them into our clinic
  • Collecting & entering patient details into the database
  • Processing payments using HICAPS
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Answering telephone calls & enquiries
  • Administration support and other ad hoc duties
  • Reporting to the Practice Manager and liaising with the clinical team to ensure smooth management of patient care


Experience & Attributes

  • Exceptional customer service skills with previous customer service experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including a professional & personable telephone manner
  • Detail-orientated
  • Fast learner with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Skilful and adaptable with different IT software
  • Ability to work as part of a multifaceted team and independently
  • Ability to remain calm, demonstrate empathy and problem solve/follow procedures in difficult situations
  • Neat and professional presentation.
