An exciting opportunity to develop and take ownership of the marketing and communications function of a fast-growing ed-tech startup.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with our broader team. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Define and execute marketing and communication activities including creation of a scalable marketing plan
Coordinate all marketing activities
Ownership of School Bytes website and social media channels including content updates, case study creation and blog posts
Creation of a regular email newsletter to be sent to current schools about product enhancements and upsell opportunities with new offerings
Organisation of marketing events such as school conferences and user groups
Track performance of marketing campaigns
Working with the broader School Bytes team on communication strategies to proactively promote new features within the system (including conveying complex functionality into an easily understood message)
Collaborating directly with the Founder & CEO of the business to execute their vision
Required skills and experience
2+ years experience in marketing
Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
A team player with initiative and a great attitude
Familiarity with digital marketing and graphic design tools
Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) marketing would be a bonus

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year (dependent on relevant experience) + superannuation
