Mojo Motorcycles - National Dealer Development Manager (ATV & SSV)

Mojo Motorcycles is a well-established motorcycle, scooter and ATV (all terrain vehicle) distributor servicing 150 dealers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Operating from a new Distribution Centre in Altona North, we are the exclusive distributor for CFMOTO, Sherco, Kymco and Landboss in Australia and New Zealand.

Our company has enjoyed tremendous success since being established in 2003, with 2020 being a record year for the business. Our vision is to grow all of our brands to become leaders within their respective segments. To assist in the delivery of our ambitious future growth plans, we are now recruiting for a National Dealer Development Manager (ATV and SSV).

Reporting to the Managing Directors and working closely with our Area Sales Managers, the National Dealer Development Manager will focus solely on our ATV/SSV network.

With the key responsibility of this role being expanding our dealer network, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Analysing sales data to identify commercial opportunities for new dealer appointments
• Cold calling and travelling to meet with potential ATV/SSV dealers Australia wide, introducing to them the opportunity to work with our company
• Working through all the requirements to on board new dealers, including meeting CI requirements, initial stocking, establishment of floor plan finance etc.
• Working closely with newly onboarded dealers following their appointment assisting them to hit the ground running (to also be assisted by support staff from our office) 

The successful applicant will have the following:

• Experience in a similar position in the motorcycle or agricultural sector
• An understanding of our competitors and the ATV and SSV market
• A positive, energetic and a can do attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, in particular Excel

An applicant from Victoria is preferable given the location of our HQ, however candidates from other states will also be considered. Extensive travel around Australia will additionally be required to meet with potential dealers.

This position is being offered on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of the successful applicant obtaining the position of National Sales Manager following this. (The ongoing securement of the position would be dependent on the progress made within the 12-month contract period and would be discussed with the applicant during the interview stages).

We want the best person out there for this role and we are prepared to pay for it. An attractive remuneration package above industry standards will be negotiated based on the successful applicants experience.
