We are looking to add to our successful team appointed to carry out remediation of lands contaminated by Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) on various projects across Australia.
As Project Engineer/Scientist you are responsible for the delivery and completion of remediation projects within the deadline and budget available. You will be a key member of the project team reporting to the Project Manager.
The job of Project Engineer/Scientist is broad and varied, but your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Coming up with creative technical solutions that enable you to complete a project successfully with the resources available.
Within our safety rules and quality standards, maximising the operational result and profits.
Developing project plans and overseeing remediation projects.
A bachelors degree in Engineering or Science.
Five years of experience in remediation of contaminated lands or related industry (preferred).
Ambition to take on a management position and transfer your knowledge to others.
A team player who is focused on results and who has strong analytical skills.
Home Port of Canberra, Sydney or within a relatively short commute of each (preferred).
Existing (or eligibility for) Defence baseline security clearance is a requirement. In order to be eligible, an individual must be an Australian citizen and undergo a vetting assessment by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
