A fantastic opportunity is available for a Mechanical /Sales engineer to join this established company and work within our Engineering and Sales department in a multi-functional role involving dealing with all sales enquiries and opportunities as well as providing engineering designs, drawings, and support for client projects and workshop production

 

Essential

Mechanical engineering degree

Vast experience working in the fluid power industry in a sales or engineering capacity

Thorough knowledge and use of design software Solidworks and AUTOCAD (2D)

Key responsibilities - Engineering

Working with Solidworks to create and modify GA and machining drawings from 3D models

Creating and modifying hydraulic circuits using AutoCAD

Designing hydraulic cylinders, power units, and hydraulic systems

Providing engineering/technical support for client enquiries and workshop staff

Liaising with suppliers for raw materials and hardware for manufacturing

Testing and overseeing the assembly and testing of cylinders and hydraulic power units

Preparing documentation for factory acceptance tests and QA for QH products.

Facilitating FAT and ITP with clients

Overseeing site work for client installations

 

Key responsibilities Sales

Handling all incoming sales enquiries in a timely and customer centric manner

Preparing and submitting client quotes

Actively canvassing new business opportunities in a structured and professional manner

Managing and developing relationships with existing clients to extract further revenue

Working closely with senior management to target new markets and growth opportunities
