The Role
This position, reporting to the State Director, is responsible for:
Managing the membership and administrative team and other staff as required
Ensuring strict compliance to electoral and other law
Internal compliance including Party constitutional advice
Providing direction and assistance on political, electoral and campaign matters
Acting as State Director in the absence of the State Director
Assisting the State Director in the organisation and governance of Central Executive, Central Council and Party Committees
Undertaking projects and tasks as may arise or as requested or approved by the State Director
Requirements
At least 5 years experience in political campaigns or political offices, particularly in local campaigns
Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated attention to detail
A bachelors degree in law or similar
An understanding of politics in NSW and in particular, regional NSW
Excellent communication skills
