Marketing Assistant / Coordinator

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from creative and organized individuals to fill the position of Marketing Coordinator. This essential role will report directly to our Head Strategist and provide front-line support on client and internal brand, and communications projects. 

As our head office is based in Chinchilla (QLD), the ideal candidate would be capable of commuting to Chinchilla on an occasional, project by project basis. Therefore the initial offer would suit those considering flexible, or remote work conditions, a  A driver's license and vehicle will be required. Job Description:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced communications professional to play a crucial role in creating and implementing a marketing and communications strategy, in line with our company profile.
You will take responsibility for the effective promotion of the business to prospective clients and involved in-depth with the initial brief to new clients.
You will work as a member of the WIP Creatives Team where you will also be a support team member and work closely with our existing Marketing Strategist.

Hours:

The position initially will be on a casual basis with a view to becoming permanent over time.

The person we are ideally looking for will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to produce succinct and effective media releases and articles for publication
  • The ability to manage publications from conception through to distribution
  • Digital Marketing/Social Media knowledge and skills
  • Public Relations background,
  • Previous involvement in event management
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Good talker

  • Positive and solution-oriented
  • Hardworking
  • Good sense of humor

The ideal candidate would have several years of experience in the Marketing/Events industries. However, we are also considering rising talent and graduates.

Location:

We are accepting applications from all across Australia for the casual position. To win a permanent part-time or full-time placement, relocation is required to 4413 Chinchilla, QLD.

Remuneration:

Based on background skills and experience.
