Checkpoint Building Surveyors are a nationwide building surveying and consultancy firm looking for a new receptionist to join their NSW team. Checkpoint Building Surveyors was established in 1999 and is a company that prides itself on a committed proactive approach that continues to provide a high level of service in building certification and consultancy. As a Receptionist, your daily duties will include;

  • Point of contact for all inbound calls and attending to the reception area;
  • Responsible for daily mail incoming and outgoing;
  • General administration and reception duties
  • Providing administrative support to our clients and Building Surveyors
  • Booking, preparation of meeting rooms, including boardroom and clean up after
  • Co-ordinate stationery/kitchen supplies etc
  • A keen eye for detail is a component of this role as well as punctuality and a positive attitude
  • Data entry such as, but not limited to, online databases, cheque reconciliations, typing of approvals, inspection bookings
  • Liaise directly with local Councils
  • Other administrative duties as may be directed

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Telephone answering experience highly regarded
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook Mail Management required
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working hours Mon to Fri 8:30am -5:00pm

Rate: $25 per hour + superannuation
