We are looking for an experienced qualified Mechanic with a truck licence and MVR Certifier who will enjoy working in a remote location where your spare time is spent fishing or enjoying the great outdoors.

Accommodation is provided with the position at a staff rent rate. A work vehicle is also provided.

The position requires you to perform the following:

• Undertake mechanical workshop duties
• Perform and report on Diagnostic data
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
• Completing routine tasks, Mechanical repairs, but not limited to; engine tune-ups, oil changes, tyre rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
• Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns
• Identify clients needs and explain/demonstrate services to them, which may involve technical descriptions of products and the way they may be used.
