The Opportunity

Our client is a highly regarded domestic PE group with an excellent reputation and enviable track record of sucess. 

The executive management team is very strong, the board is cohesive and they share a clear strategic direction for future growth.  

This is a rare opportunity to join the firm in a hybrid CFO role, splitting the time between leading the finance function of the group, and involvement in the running of the groups portfolio investments. 

The Challenge

This is an ideal role for an oustanding finance executive who wants to play a key part in shaping the future direction of the group and it's investments. The role will be challenging and exciting as you are overseeing the routine finance function of the group, whilst also working with the portfolio companies on things such as business plans, budget inputs, and building out organisational structures. 

Partnering with the Managing Partner, your routine responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the preparation of timely financial and management reports for the company
• Planning and directing the company's strategic long term financial goals while evaluating existing plans
• Partnering with the Managing Partner on all treasury, financing and debt management strategies for the company
• Creating and maintaining an effective management performance framework for the company
• Coordinating all tax, audit and reporting matters
• Taking a lead role in driving improvements in systems and processes throughout the company
• Being involved with the M&A decision-making activity for the company

The Expertise

It is a given that you will be a highly ambitious finance executive with a proven skill-set developed over many years. 

Please consider expressing interest if you have the following:

• Possibly, you are currently working at EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte or a leading second-tier CA firm such as BDO or Grant Thornton. You will be at Senior Manager/ Associate Director/ Director level CA looking for your first move out into industry. You will have a background in transaction services/ deal advisory or M&A, ideally having initially started in audit.
