This role provides senior administrative, project and logistical support across the portfolio ensuring all teams are well supported across all main operational functions in an accurate and efficient manner.
Salary Package: From $86,851 to $95,869 p.a. (HEW Level 6), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.

To be successful in this role you will hold relevant degree and/or relevant experience., IT skills including Microsoft Office, administrative experience in business administration or relevant discipline. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage and prioritise critical, often complex tasks, against competing deadlines. Have strong communication skills and high level of customer service skills. The position requires developing, implementing, and reviewing administrative processes and systems and implementing business process improvements. Interpreting and advising on policies, procedures, rules and regulations is a key accountability along with high level problem solving and troubleshooting skills. The incumbent will be building and managing working relationships with key stakeholders. Experience in using learning management systems and/or finance systems is essential. You will be someone who provides comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Directors and their teams in the PVCL&T portfolio including a broad range of operational functions such as Finance, HR, IT, logistics, event coordination and administration. You will provide secretariat support for committees across the learning and teaching portfolio including organising meetings, taking minutes, preparing papers and reports and undertaking any other duties as required by the committee. You will collate data and information for all main operational functions in the learning and teaching portfolio and produce reports to support decision making. You will also monitor the budget and portfolio expenditure, process financial transactions across the learning and teaching portfolio including raising purchase orders, processing invoices and trouble shooting other issues related to finance.You will co-ordinate the physical space for teams across the learning and teaching portfolio including management of improvements to the physical space, liaising with property and co-ordinating office moves. You will develop, implement, and continuously improve administrative processes in the Operations Team and build and maintain effective and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) is located within the DVC-A portfolio and is responsible for strengthening learning and teaching at Macquarie through developing academic staff capabilities, developing and maintaining a suite of quality academic programs, creating and maintaining flexible and innovative physical and virtual learning spaces and enhancing our student learning experience.
