Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator

What are the key responsibilities

The role is essentially responsible for providing general technical and administration support to the team, specifically;

  • Responsible to administrate pre-and post-technical support requests and project database management, from initiation to work completion;
  • Liaise with cost control to ensure accurate cost reporting;
  • Responsible for preparing design specification with the assistance of the engineering team 
  • Responsible to assist the engineering team in ad-hoc data entry/analysis and reporting;
  • Managing the approval process of milestone reports
  • Managing the invoicing of milestone payments
  • Responsible to update Meeting Minutes, Cost plan, timeline, and project related documentation.
  • Assist the project lead in planning, preparation and coordination of Flash Reports, Request For Info (RFI) and Quality Audits;
  • Assistant role to the Manager including support to team members;
  • Assist in filing of all correspondence and documentation control in-line with ISO 9001;
  • Conveying project status information to the technical team and all staff through daily, weekly or monthly meetings.

What are the key skills required

  • 2 years’ experience in facilities or project management environments. preferable in a similar position 
  • Microsoft Office skills, including MS Project and Excel
  • Able to work to deadlines;
  • Work collaboratively as a team player across multiple teams with excellent communication and motivational skills;
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure;
  • A high-level understanding of the entire project life cycle from the concept to completion;
