Civil Supervisor - Road Construction

Goldsmith has been a civil contractor for more than 60 years now and operates throughout Victoria. We specialise in the delivery of bulk earthworks and civil projects. Goldsmith is an employer of choice that prioritises professional development, training and a well-rounded work life balance.

We are currently looking to appoint a full time Supervisor to assist our team in the delivery of road projects in South East Melbourne. The right applicant will be a production and safety focused individual with a strong background and detailed understanding of bulk earthworks including roadworks, drainage and pavement construction.

Applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Foreman/Supervisor working for a civil contractor and at least 5 years experience in bulk earthworks and VicRoads projects
• A demonstrated commitment to safety, and a working knowledge of OHS laws
• Working knowledge of earthmoving and road building plant and equipment
• Working knowledge of geotechnical testing and quality control
• Working knowledge of Topcon GPS hand held and machine control systems
• Proven ability to deliver on program and budget
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A current Victorian drivers license.
