A Grade Electrician/Project Leader

VDA Electrical is an energetic and growing team looking for a fully qualified Senior Electrician (Project Leader/Site Foreman) available to work up to 6 days a week on large residential, multi unit sites and medium/high density apartment developments across Melbourne. On a daily basis you will be working with and interacting with clients and other trades in homes and on job sites, your ability to communicate effectively is essential. As project leader you are expected to manager and co-ordinate junior electricians/apprentices, across assigned projects.

       Ability to understand and interpret plans

       Excellent organisational and communication skills

       Professional and personal approach in order to work with clients and alongside trades

       Ability to pass on knowledge and teach apprentices

 

The successful applicant will have:

       4 + years in the Electrical Industry

       Victorian A Grade Electrical License

       Current Driver's License

       Must be punctual and reliable

       Strong work ethic

       Positive, motivated and energetic personality

       Own Vehicle (must be set up to work out of if sub-contrator)

       All necessary tools of the trade to complete tasks to a professional standard

       Sound understanding of contactors, relays, PE-Cell's and timers.

       Capable of the following:

-  In slab conduits e.g. Basement Carparks

-  Cable/Ladder tray installation

- Preferable C-bus and Dynalite automation knowledge and experience

- Site Foreman Experience

 

Hourly rate will be dependent on your level of experience.
