Apply now to join the Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) as Project Officer Communications and Engagement, to support the Community Partnerships Manager and Coordinator with communications activities for the seven Western and Central projects within the Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP).
The VMFRP is a planned program of infrastructure works and important environmental outcomes to enhance the watering of high valued floodplains on the River Murray in Victoria through the delivery of environmental water.
This exciting role demands you have strong and effective organisational, administrative, and communication skills along with an eye for detail. You should demonstrate creativity and a flair for the development of targeted audience content, and a passion for community and stakeholder engagement.
Tertiary qualifications in communications, media, journalism or related discipline along with experience in a similar role is essential. Digital and social media skills are desirable.

The position is available on a full-time basis until September 2022 (with extension subject to funding). This role is classified as a Band 8 Position in accordance with the Mallee CMA Enterprise Agreement with a remuneration range of $79,127.69 - $87,383.21 per annum plus superannuation, dependant on skills and experience.
