Key Account Sales Executive

Vitalitys portfolio of brands compete successfully in the sun care and personal care categories, and are sold domestically in supermarkets, pharmacies, department stores and convenience stores, as well as internationally in 15 countries through Greater China, South East Asia and the Middle East.

We are seeking a dynamic key account sales executive who will take the sales lead and management of a number of independent grocery accounts. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing key accounts, sales administration and forecasting and growing profitable brands.

This position will report to the Grocery Business Managers and will be based at our National Headquarters in Hawthorn, Victoria.

Experience and Competencies Required

The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Sales outcome focused
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities
  • Managing key customer accounts and key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement account plans and the management of product and category range reviews 
  • Ensuring our products and brands are best in class in how they are represented in-store
  • Preparing and executing joint business plans
  • Assuming responsibility for Promotional and Trade spend forecasting accuracy within set budgets
  • Supporting the loading of new lines and promotions with the major accounts as well as other associated sales administrative duties and
  • Making sure we maximize every business opportunity

Personal Qualities

  • You will be passionate about the Health and Beauty industry
  • You will be an experienced Key Account Manager with recent track-record of successfully working with retailers in the beauty category or the FMCG sector
  • You will have the ability to manage and deliver against key business outcomes in competitive categories that requires agility and a growth mindset 
  • You will have robust financial acumen and an ability to consistently drive positive financial results
  • You will have excellent analytical, commercial & administrative skills
  • You will have great influencing and negotiation skills
  • You will be a natural collaborator with the ability to grow accounts
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • You will be looking for a company you can stay and grow
