As a result, we have experienced rapid organic growth, and are now looking for an energetic Graduate Signalling and Telecommunications Engineer to join our team.
The Role of the Graduate Signalling and Comms Engineer
As a Graduate you will be tasked with the following activities:
Apply academic learning to the work carried out on behalf of the Practice
Provide reports, analysis and research on relevant issues as directed
Undertake professional and personal development activities to complement on the job learning
Start a path towards IRSE accreditation in Signalling and/or Communications
Obtain trackside work accreditation and gain experience in trackside work activities
Conduct site surveys in a rail environment
Complete project design activities under the supervision of senior staff members
Learn to use professional modelling packages
Comply with RSA procedures and policies
Have completed, or be close to completing, a degree in Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering
Possess well developed analytical and research skills
Present well developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Be capable of working as an effective team member and take direction where required
Energetic, motivated, keen to learn and hit the ground running
