Fixed Crushing Plant Production Superintendent

FIFO - Permanent Full Time, Industry leading rates, 5 weeks annual leave with super on all hours.

The Role

As the Production Superintendent reporting directly to the Site Manager your main duties will be:

  • Building and establishing strong client relationships and managing these daily
  • Providing strong effective leadership to all site personnel including daily management of up to 20 employees per roster
  • Work Closely with and guiding the shift supervisor
  • Identifying employee training needs and performance management
  • Provide ongoing training to employees to and drive continuous improvement and skill development
  • Assist the maintenance team with implementing and managing a tailored scheduled maintenance program
  • Developing and managing site specific systems and procedures
  • Recruitment and rostering of employees
  • Incident reporting and investigation


Skills and Experience required

  • Min 2-year experience in a Fixed Crushing Plant Supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of product flow and material processing
  • Experience in the day to day production of a Fixed Plant Crushing Operation
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders on all levels
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages specifically in outlook and excel
  • Drive and commitment with a high attention to detail
  • Strong time management, communication, personal and relationship building skills
  • Machine operating experience
    • FEL
    • Bobcat
    • Excavators


The experience with following will be highly regarded:

  • Previous experience with Osborn crushing equipment
  • PRONTO operating experience
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessing
  • HRWLs
    • WP
    • Dogging
    • RG
    • CN/C6
