Junior Mechanical Project Engineer - Drive in, Drive out role
Join a global business, 3 month contract with possible extension, Competitive rate on offer.NES Fircroft is partnered with a multinational engineering business seeking to engage a Mechanical Project Engineer with approximately two years experience to join their team on site - working a Monday to Friday roster in Western Queensland. You'll be working on a prolific renewable energy project and joining a company with the opportunity for future work beyond this initial 3 month contract.
Key Responsibilities will include: Technical interface with Commercial Operations, FRO, Requisition Engineering (for Manufacturing, Engineering, Compliance/Certification, Supply Chain), Logistic, Installation, Commissioning and Project Management teams during Wind Farm construction phase. Execute the analysis and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. Participate in the necessary project processes. Responsible for technical documentation/contractual deliverables during different phases of the project. Manage the interface with other disciplines and EPC sub-contractor. Collaborate with other project functions to determine root cause and define both corrective and preventive actions for turbine or fleet issues with time bound manner. *Work with Engineering, EHS, suppliers and projects on regulatory compliance
To be successful you will need: 1) 2 to 3 years experience either with a top tier contractor or EPC firm; 2) Strong communication skills 3) The right attitude to work in a team environment; and 4) Ability to meet deadlines.
