Health Information Content Writing and Curation

Health Promotion Content Writer. Health Information Curator. 

2 Roles. Victoria or Queensland. Part Time. Temporary. 

 

At Asthma Australia we help people to breathe so they can live freely. We work with health professionals, researchers, governments and other partners to deliver evidence based prevention and health strategies to more than half a million people each year. We focus on providing information and education to empower individuals and communities to change behaviour and improve the lives of people living with Asthma. 

We need two people to fill additional roles in our Research, Information and Evaluation team to ensure we have access to quality and relevant information and our communications to all audiences contain high quality, accurate and relevant content.  

Health Promotion Content Writer   

In this role youll get to:  

  • Write content to include in health promotion resources  
  • Ensure content is consistent with regulatory standards (TGA & Medicines Australia) 
  • Ensure content is consistent with Asthma Australia Tone of Voice and Brand messaging 
  • Collaborate with different internal teams on health promotion and communication activities 

Well expect you to have:  

  • Experience in health promotion content writing on medical and broader issues 
  • Fantastic attention to detail and collaboration skills 
  • The ability to keep pace with changes in new medicines, technology, regulations and research 
  • Ideally pharmaco-governance experience 

 

Health Information Curator 

In this role youll get to:  

  • Establish a process to gather, synthesise, translate and distribute relevant information for internal end users 
  • Contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive information library accessible for all business users which includes evidence, key messages and consumer insights 
  • Analyse and develop reports on a range of relevant data sources 

Well expect you to have:  

  • The ability to keep pace with rapidly changing context relevant for people with asthma 
  • Able to process and organise a broad amount of complex information and data 
  • Understanding of health related information gained through experience in a health professional or science information related role 
  • Both roles are for 6 months, with the opportunity to extend.
