AusCare is looking for a Digital Graphics and Media Executive to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media and post it on different social media platforms. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, wed like to meet you. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.
Roles and Responsibilities
Creating and editing print and digital artwork using Adobe CC programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat (After Effects & Premiere Pro desirable)
Write, review, and distribute company EDM to key customers;
Experience using Wordpress and/or other CMS
Creating content for a range of mediums including social media posts;
Assist with delivering of marketing campaigns across traditional and digital platforms;
Provide ongoing marketing and administrative support to the sales & business development team;
Update and review online content on the company website and social media.
Re-purpose creative concepts for all other digital requirements including: social media assets, banners, digital advertising;
Understanding asset useability and integrate these into the overall design concept across all platforms e.g. social, mobile, website
Implement new online initiatives and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies
Retouching of brand images for digital content use (product images, content creation and potentially campaign images)
In addition to those skills candidates with the following additional skills will be highly regarded:
Sound understanding of digital paid media
1+ years of experience in graphic designing and paid/organic social media advertisement
Bachelors degree in digital media or graphic design or related field is preferred
A strong eye for visual composition
Able to give and receive constructive criticism by reading the content document
Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Strong experience in working with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
Ability to build and maintain websites on WordPress
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Experience in HealthCare or related field is a plus
Communication skills: You must be able to confer advice and suggestions from managers, as well as understand what they want.
Time management skills: You'll often find that you're juggling several projects almost simultaneously.
Teamwork skills: Designers must be able to collaborate and get along with others when they work as part of a design and social media team.
Technical skills: Expert with Adobe suite and a knowledge of both typography & color theory is critical.
