The opportunity: 

We are seeking a highly capable, enthusiastic and motivated Junior Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Business Development team based in our Sydney office. This entry-level role would suit a recent university graduate or someone looking to kick-start their career in the marketing industry. The successful candidate will be working closely with our team in Sydney to learn the ins & outs of the marketing world. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide administrative support and personal assistance to the Marketing team
• Assist with preparation of monthly marketing and business development reports
• Assist the Marketing team with coordination of publications
• Being an initial point of contact for new client enquiries that come to the firm
• Maintain the New Client Enquiry database and run reports 
• Assist and support the team with effective delivery of onsite and offsite events
• Research and obtain quotes for company merchandise 

 

Successful candidates will have: 

• An engaging, warm and friendly manner with a client service focus 
• Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
• Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills, particularly Excel
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and proactive desire to accept miscellaneous tasks as they arise
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Legal/Professional Services industry (preferred, although not essential)
