We are working with one of Australia's largest miners who are experiencing a period of growth within WA's resource sectors. An immediate requirement has arisen for a Project Co Ordinator to join a collaborative team environment based in Perth with site travel requirements.

About the role

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the close out of various electrical projects. This short-term role will be working for a major miner in Perth.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Close out of the governance & financial documentation
• Coordinate engineering services to finalise project close out
• An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.
• Cultivating positive relationships through effective engagement, communication and consultation.

To be successful in this contract role you will possess:

• Immediate availability
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Project Management qualifications (MSP, PRINCE 2, PMBOK etc) or Demonstrated advanced knowledge of quality project management principles and practices
• Previous mining/resources experience top tier mining companies
• Previous experience working on logistic &/or automation projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated high-level negotiation skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external departments and contractors.
