At Asthma Australia we help people to breathe so they can live freely. We work with health professionals, researchers, governments and other partners to deliver evidence based prevention and health strategies to more than half a million people each year. We focus on providing information and education to empower individuals and communities to change behaviour and improve the lives of people living with Asthma.
We need a Health Information Curator in our Research, Information and Evaluation team to ensure we have access to quality and relevant information for teams across the business.
In this role youll get to:
Establish a process to gather, synthesise, translate and distribute relevant information for internal end users
Contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive information library accessible for all business users which includes evidence, key messages and consumer insights
Analyse and develop reports on a range of relevant data sources
Well expect you to have:
The ability to keep pace with rapidly changing context relevant for people with asthma
Able to process and organise a broad amount of complex information and data
Understanding of health related information gained through experience in a health professional or science information related role
This role is for 6 months, with the opportunity to extend.
