Set amongst 18 hectares of native Tuart, Redgum, and Banksia trees (many reported to be over 300 years old) and flanked by sweeping views of Matilda Bay, you will find the Nedlands golf course in one of Perth's oldest and finest suburbs.
Nedlands is a private, members 9-hole championship layout, and on each tee, you will find two teeing areas. Each offers a subtle new challenge and a different perspective to each hole.
We are currently seeking to employ an enthusiastic Apprentice Greenkeeper to assist with the daily maintenance of our golf course and surrounding grounds. Reporting to the Course Superintendent and working within a small team, your duties would encompass:
Maintenance of greens, fairways, roughs, tee boxes and bunkers
Setting up the course as required for competitions and tournaments
Irrigation maintenance and repairs

Candidates must be available to work a fixed weekday roster with early morning starts as well as some weekends.
The apprenticeship is for 4 years and includes attending TAFE which consists of 2 week blocks over 4 times a year which is covered by Nedlands Golf Club.
The successful applicant will be an Australian resident and will be remunerated in line with National Employment Standards.
Current 1st or 2nd year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.
