Skippers, WA's Truly Regional Airline, welcome applicants for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Planner within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Office (Part 42 Organisation) located at Perth airport
Brief Description:
Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for forecasting, scheduling, planning, monitoring and reporting on all aircraft maintenance activities.
Working within the CAMO team which includes Maintenance Planners, Technical Records, Technical Services and Technical Library, you will help to ensure the continuing airworthiness of Skippers' substantial fleet of Conquest, Metro, Brasilia, Dash 8 and Fokker 100 aircraft.
Responsibilities:
Forecast and develop long and short-term projections of fleet maintenance requirements.
Schedule the accomplishment of maintenance tasks, Airworthiness Directives & Service Bulletins and ensure all scheduled maintenance is completed on time.
Build work packages by preparing task cards, part & tool requirements.
Update routine & non-routine tasks in the scheduling system.
Develop and employ creative solutions to overcome scheduling and AOG issues.
Liaise with others within the CAM Office, Engineering and Operations to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance activities and maximise aircraft up-time.
Requirements:
Previous maintenance planning, scheduling or production control experience (Highly Desirable).
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Highly developed computer skills, particularly MS Office suite.
Experience with scheduling software, preferably IAS, will be highly regarded.
A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
An ability to think laterally and problem solve.
Previous aviation industry experience and a good understanding of CASA regulations will be highly regarded.
