Somerset Regional Council is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and capable individual with the relevant qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience to join the operations team in the following permanent full-time role.

The successful applicant will ensure responsible, safe and efficient operations of Councils repair crews based at Esk, while also manage programming, external contractors and inspections.
Experience in a similar role in the civil construction industry requiring application of supervisory skills and road construction practices will be highly regarded.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award State 2017 and the relevant Certified Agreement with the classification payable being Level 5, salary range of $85,688 to $89,086 gross base rate per annum.
