Typesetter/Graphic Designer

At our Australian factory, based in Dandenong South, we balance state of the art technology with crafting techniques to create lifelong products for our customers. We require a full-time Typesetter/Graphic Designer, candidates are required will have experience operating a Mac computer, using QuarkXPress and the Adobe collection. Must have an eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure and meet production requirements and deadlines.

Skills and Experience most desirable to us are:

• Formal qualifications in Graphic Arts, Multimedia (or similar related) is preferred
• An excellent understanding of graphics and layouts
• Operating a large format printer
• Produce typeset and finished artwork in a timely manner
• Proof reading and accuracy are a must
• Photo editing
• Be able to follow guidelines and specifications
• Operating Mac computers
• Manage large database and files
• Ability to organise and prioritise work
• Work within the team and individually
• Assist with management and other duties
• Need to be a great communicator and be able to connect with people easily
• Discipline and ability to follow procedures
• Designing and creating digital and printed content including digital advertisements,
• Social media, website, marketing flyers, email/EDM

Hours of Work: 7am 3.30pm with overtime when required.
