Senior Accountant

Based in Kew, they have developed a valued reputation as trusted partners to individuals and business owners for their specialist advice in Accounting and Taxation and more broadly as business advisors.

Ongoing growth has created a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join in a senior role, providing internal leadership across the team as well as externally building relationships and directly supporting the growth of key accounts.

About the role:

In this role, you will have extensive client contact and the opportunity to work with them to directly impact the performance and growth of their businesses. This will include the preparation of tax returns (including income tax and FBT) and financial statements for a wide range of entities and individuals and the provision of strategic taxation and business advice.

As a senior member, you will also play a critical role in providing mentorship and supporting the growth of other team members and to build the future talent. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Accounting degree
  • CPA or CA is essential
  • Minimum 3 years' accounting experience in public practice
  • Intermediate to advanced Xero and MS Excel skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a busy, high achieving environment and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
