Junior Admin / Accounts Assistant

A fantastic opportunity is available for you to work for a leading roofing manufacturer and installer in Taren Point. The successful candidate will need to possess the following qualities:

  • 1-2 years experience in an office environment is preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well organised
  • Various software applications in use, therefore excellent computer skills required
  • Vehicle and licence essential

As a member of our team you will be responsible for the following:

  • Data entry
  • Ordering stationery
  • Banking
  • Collecting mail
  • Reception relief
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Preparing bank deposits
  • Inform management and compile reports/ summaries on activity areas
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Debt collection
  • Customer service via telephone and face to face communication
  • Standard clerical and administrative duties
  • Day to day office activities
  • Team member assistance as required

The position is full time with preferably an immediate start, and we require someone with a bright, bubbly, easy going personality that is versatile, flexible and reliable.
