Mechanic for Rail Grinding Machine Operator Maintainers

Speno Rail Maintenance Australia, is a world leader in rail grinding technology, machine production and the service provider of choice for all  rail maintenance, rectification and diagnostics.

We are currently seeking experienced qualified mechanics / HD fitters, to join our North West Operations as Rail Grinding Machine Operator Maintainers on our multi million dollar rail grinding trains and vehicles. 

The successful applicants will be motivated, enthusiastic team players with a strong work ethic and the right abilities and attitude to succeed and progress. 

All training will be supplied by the Company including Speno Rails individual training program, to ensure salary and level progression through the operator maintainer levels;  Level 1 Operator Maintainer , Level 2 Operator Maintainer, Senior Operator Maintainer and Team Leader.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Trade Qualified Mechanic 
• Desire to learn and develop
• Committed to following the company's values
• Flexible and able to work well in a team
• Ability to meet production targets and goals efficiently and safely.
• Valid C class manual drivers license essential
• Available for 14/7 or 9/5 roster shifts days and nights
• Ability to follow instruction through to task completion
• Committed with 100% safety focus
• Excellent communication skills
• Friendly and co-operative
• Fit to category 1 medical requirements with full colour vision
• Must be based in Perth, Western Australia
• Must have the right to work within Australia (no sponsorships)

Desirable but not essential:

• HR license
• 4wd Cert
• First Aid
• Rail experience
