Were seeking a Development & Digital Comms Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.
Commerce Ballarat is the largest independent business group in the city with over 650 members across the region. We offer a broad range of opportunities and services, reliable leadership and advocacy on matters relevant to greater Ballarat.
Working within a small busy office, this position would suit a hard-working team player with initiative and pride in their work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and an eagerness to learn are essential. The right candidate will need to attend work events outside of business hours.
This role will consist of:
Data entry & Record management
Social media management - creation of online content, weekly Edm
Scheduling and planning of development programs to support the business community (including industry chats, Biznet Breakfasts, Young Professionals Network, B31 & Business Day Out)
Coordinating buy local campaigns
Event preparation & coordination
The successful applicant will have:
2+ years experience in an administration role
Proven initiative and ability to complete tasks with little guidance
Event coordination experience (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher)
Experience with content creation and mail out programs highly regarded (Canva, Mailchimp, etc,)
