Working as part of a small team in the Association's national office and reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Communications and Marketing Officer provides desktop publishing support, and assists with the Associations online, digital and social media presence.
A working knowledge of desktop publishing with Adobe Creative Cloud is essential.
Demonstrated skills in social media and familiarity with a host of new and popular social media programs and apps is a distinct advantage. The Association is looking for a self-starter who can work unsupervised and has ideas about how to assist the Association in engaging with its members and key external audiences.

To be considered for this position, applicants need to satisfy the following selection criteria.
Working knowledge of desktop publishing with the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
A communications or marketing degree or equivalent experience.
A strong working knowledge of social media and current trends.
An eye for detail.
The ability to work unsupervised as part of a small team and collaborate on a range of projects.
A willingness to undertake a number of administrative tasks on behalf of the communications and marketing team.
An understanding of digital marketing principles, including the production and distribution of eNewsletters and electronic direct mail/messages.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including a good sense of humour and a willingness to learn.
