Fibrous Plasterer

Multi award winning master builder, with over 20 years experience in the design, construction and restoration of high-end residential works, across the Sydney metropolitan area. Seeking experienced Fibrous Plasterer to join the Mardini Constructions team for immediate start.
 

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Directly applying and installing re rating systems to interior walls, ceilings and partitions of buildings
- Directly applying and installing acoustic systems to interior walls, ceilings and partitions of buildings
- Directly applying scratch, brown or finish coats of plaster
- Mixing of plaster to desired consistency
- Spread plaster coating and smooth with darby
- Roughen undercoat to provide bond for succeeding coats of plaster
- Create decorative textures in finish coat
- Daily problem solving, keeping the project to stringent deadlines
- Regular reporting on site activity and progress 
 

Skills & Experience
- Trade Certificate preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Fibrous Plasterer
- Hands on, good on the tools
- Great management skills
- Skilled within OH&S
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
