This exciting new role has been created to support the sales and production functions of our business. Working closely with the Production Teams, you will oversee and handle supply chain operations and support the business growth across each of our brands.
Fresche Bioscience is a growing Australian Business having global impact. Active in over 28 countries we work across consumer, commercial, industrial and healthcare developing advanced antimicrobials and hygiene products that support healthier environments. We currently have three brands within our portfolio and you will get to contribute to the growth of all three:
Siqura: a high performance, long lasting antimicrobial cleaning range
Gearlock: the first ARTG listed product exclusively designed for sports hygiene
Fresche: a companion technology partner to some of the worlds largest textile and foam manufacturers.
Meet daily with company sales management to review existing and new orders.
Acknowledge customer orders and confirm expected production / order completion dates.
Advise sales management immediately of any change in expected completion dates.
Procurement Maintain updated specification sheets and accurate costs for each component.
Review WIP inventory to ensure all orders can be processed as scheduled.
Review Procure and maintain raw materials stocks allowing for appropriate lead times.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with company supply and freight vendors.
Schedule daily production outputs and priorities up to 14 days in advance days.
Monitor production to achieve on time (in full) purchase order dispatch outcomes.
Provide daily status reports on outputs (litres processed, productivity, delays, defectives)
Immediately intervene and cease production if a product defect is identified.
If purchase orders exceed internal capacity, recommend alternate supply options.
Provide customer freight quotes from approved vendors as requested.
Liaise with customer freight agents or forwarders to collect completed orders.
Provide customer with required a shipping documentation as and where requested.
Maintain a (systematic) library of retained samples for each production batch.
Who you are
You are positive, enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude

You are flexible and adaptable and love being a part of growing environments
Background in chemicals or similar industry would be well considered.
Minimum 10 years experience as production planner and logistics management.
You probably have a degree or diploma in Logistics or a related field and previous experience working in this environment
Knowledge of export documentation (and payment arrangements. (Incoterms)
Competent experience in production planning and quality assurance protocols.
Working knowledge of ERP systems, competent in math and statistics.
Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Forklift and vehicle driving license (non-essential but an advantage).
